I love to draw. It’s a form of meditation for me. I use a variety of mediums. A painters box filled with pens, inks, watercolors, charcoals, pastels, acrylics, and markers. Sometimes I use these all together or separately on their own. I work with paper, canvas, wood, glass and fabric. But I love paper. I collect it. Beautiful paper and stationary. Because, I love to write handwritten letters. I love textiles. I love design. Most of all I love color. Especially how color can stir emotions and move you in a direction that can change anything and everything in a moment. Orange and Teal can do that to me.
I’ll be using this space as a sandbox for my art.
A self-portrait

“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you.” ― Frida Kahlo
Georgie it’s beautiful, you are very talented. I also love the quote from my all time favorite artist. Can’t wait to see more of your work.
Thank you! I’m trying to get back into art instead of all the baking, for a healthier lifestyle. Yeah, I adore Frida Kahlo – she’s so amazing in so many ways.
